Safe and affordable Arrive and Drive Racing!
We've surpassed the "industry standard" race weekend format with our 9-race Series in only 3 weekends with every race getting its own qualifying session. We appreciate you want maximum racing with maximum efficient use of your time. We feel that most "school" Series are full of compromises that degrade the racing experience. Do not assume all of these Series are the same! Compare details - you can easily spend more money and get lesser racing!
Compare our unique / efficient / quality format!
NEW! MASTERS SERIES
If you're 30 or over, you can race in the Masters Class of the Series. The format, pricing and rules are the same, but the points will be calculated separately and a separate podium celebration will be done for each of the races for the Masters Class. Dependent upon overall Series entries, the Masters Class may or may not run as a separate grid. Please note, you may elect to run in the "open" Series class OR the Masters class but not both in the same year. The choice is yours.
Each event includes:
- One grid, up to a usual maximum of 12 racers
- One 20-minute practice session with 1 on 1 coaching
- Three 20-minute qualifying sessions with coaching tips
- Three 20-lap races with podium award celebrations
Challenging Different Tracks
Lots of variety! Five different configurations over the three weekends at the Don Panoz owned Mosport Driver Development Center located a short drive from Toronto's vibrant downtown core and International Airport. Although each configuration varies in technical difficulty and speeds attained, all feature broad runoff areas, clear sight lines, excellent drainage, minimal guardrails or walls and are proportioned to match the performance parameters of our Reynard F2000's. Avoid costly crash costs usually associated with Pro-Tracks! Who else offers you this environment?
Detailed Race Car Prep
Identically prepared Reynard F2000's assure the closest racing. Since no fleet of racecars anywhere in the world is identical, small differences do remain, so you get to draw your race car for each of the 9 races. Our race mechanics perform a two day, pre-race check list that includes but is not limited to 11 major items: 1 - a 12 pt. crack inspection that includes the 12 major areas of the car. 2 - a 32 pt. suspension 'freeplay' inspection to check for looseness in the suspension. 3 - a 100 pt. 'Nut & Bolt' inspection in 9 major areas that cover the entire car. 4 - a brake and clutch inspection that includes fluid replacement. 5 - an 80 pt. electrical inspection. 6 - a 60 pt. engine inspection. 7 - all fire system components are inspected. 8 - all onboard safety equipment is inspected. 9 - all wheels and tires are cleaned and inspected.10 - all bodywork is cleaned and repaired. 11 - a full alignment is done. All this as well as car equalization and adjustment to assure we start every race weekend with a close grid of cars. Unique to us (at this time), weight equalization is achieved by first ballasting the car weights then adding ballast for drivers less than 180lbs. and subtracting ballast where possible for drivers over 180lbs (see rules). Who else takes your competitiveness so seriously?
Included with your Series entry will be a custom foam seat moulded to your body for comfort and performance.
License Upgrades - Top Level Accreditation
SCCA National Upgrades in just one weekend. Simply ask us for a National License package and pay the $175 U.S fee for SCCA's license kit. We also provide ASN Canada/FIA Pro upgrades in just two weekends (6 races).
Awesome Arrive & Drive Savings
No capital outlay. No need to buy a race car, spares or transporter. No need to pay expenses and transport a crew. No need to stock spare parts or buy any spare cars or perform pre-race prep/post race rebuild. This is the best of hassle free racing. We do all the work. You do all the driving!
Very Low Damage Responsibility
Should a race car be damaged, drivers are only responsible for up to $3500 CDN in any single incident. Considering it is only fair that drivers have this minor amount 'on the line'. This is really a bonus! Consider that the next time you get in a race car, you may not enjoy this consideration and be accountable for the entire cost of the race car!
Compare other schools. Remember, the safety of the track is an integral function of the probability of a crash and the extent of damage. Compare facilities! Compare walls and guardrails! There is no driver damage responsibility for damage clearly resulting from mechanical failure!

Wheels Off Fines
While there are many advantages to a driver development track that doesn't contain the 120 mph sweepers, walls & guardrails of Pro Tracks, one of the deterrents can be the comfort / safety level. Some of the more aggressive drivers may feel comfortable with exceeding their capabilities, and thus they may slide off the track.
These seemingly innocent slides through the dirt & rocks eventually require additional maintenance. For 17 years it's been our philosophy that the clean drivers shouldn't share in the cost of this unnecessary / extra maintenance. Thus, only the drivers who choose to exceed their capabilities & skid all 4 wheels off the track are asked to pay $100 CDN towards the maintaining of the fleet.
Please note that several of our courses have no wheels off fines applicable.
Rules Highlights
Please note: this information is for marketing purposes; comparing any discrepancy with our Web site and the official Bridgestone F2000 Racing Series Rule Book, the Rule Book will take precedence.
- A maximum of 24 drivers will usually be divided into two, 12 car grids as determined by a round robin blind draw
- After the field of F2000's have been ballasted to compensate for their own weight differences, they are then ballasted after the weighing of each driver to the 180lb minimum.
- Crew assistance will be available to adjust F2000 seating, pedal and shifter positions
- We have easy removable vinyl strips for any of your (non-conflicting) sponsorship across the upper rear wing
- Transponder timing, cornerworkers and ambulance service are used in all sessions
- Open passing during Practice, Qualifying and Racing
- Individual coaching & tips are provided by our Insructors after all practice and qualifying sessions.
- Each driver will draw for a F2000 car for each race and driver re-ballasting will be performed
- Each driver is allotted 2 elective F2000 car swaps per full season entry / 1 for a single race weekend (mechanical problem swaps do not count as elective swaps)
- Dry races will be started in a rolling, side-by-side formation
- Wet races (as determined by the Race Director), will be started in a rolling single file formation
- Mechanical DNF's will be assigned last place points (in successive order if necessary)
- If contact occurs, the driver will be allowed to continue to race, unless we observe a safety concern that will require the car to pit for inspection
- Crash damage liability is limited! You are responsible for only $3500 CDN. This amount does not automatically increase for subsequent crashes! The Series reserves the right to increase this for an individual driver to excessive multiple crashes (this has only ever been applied twice in 13 years).
- Each driver is responsible for the repair of their car irrespective of opinion of fault
- Crashing a car might prevent a driver from finishing the current race, but re-entry to the remaining races is permitted once the damage is paid, the deposit has been restored and a spare car is available
- There are no refunds for DNF's (crash or mechanical)
- At the discretion of the Race Director; cheating, intentionally dangerous / violent actions, etc. shall be grounds for expulsion from individual Races, Race Weekends or the whole Series without refunds (only happened once in 13 years)
- Points accumulated by each driver will determine Series finishing order
- Every driver must send in a Bridgestone Race Series medical evaluation filled in by a doctor before their entry will be completed. If you have had a medical assessment after January 1, 2006, we may be able to accept this in place of our medical form. We will require a copy of the form. Drivers who hold current CASC / ASN / SCCA licenses do not have to submit a medical.
