Mosport, Ontario: SRFKC driver and Sunoco Team Ultra 94 member Devin Cunningham recently participated in and won the Discovery Channel's reality show 'Star Racer'. Top prize for the winner is a full season of racing in the Star Mazda Series with AIM Autosport for 2007.
'Star Racer' took place in September and October 2006 at the end of a very competitive year of racing for Devin at the Bridgestone Racing Academy's Series, where he competed as a member of Sunoco Team Ultra 94. Devin finished fourth overall just four points behind third place in the 'Bridgestone F2000 Racing Series'; a hotly contested nine race Series held at the Mosport Driver Development Centre just outside Toronto Canada.
Devin had one race win as well as several top three finishes even though he drove cleanly through the entire season. "It was a pleasure to observe Devin work with our Instructors to develop a safe but fast technique that undoubtedly helped him achieve Star Racer's Top award." said Bridgestone Racing Academy President / Owner.
