Why there are now two very different types of road race tracks:
- Normal tracks where pro races are held, with their various walls and guardrails that make it exciting. No big deal, since most top pros don't have to cover their own crash damages.
- Purpose-built training tracks that were designed from the ground up expressly for driver development. Really learning to drive at the limit is easier to do when you aren't thinking about walls and guardrails! We know of only three such tracks in all of North America (ours, Shannonville's and Bondurant's). On the Canadian Tire Motorsport Park Driver Development Tracks, we impose no artificial rev limits, speed limits, spin - mandatory pit rules, etc. It's your choice: spend your money racing or fixing guard rails!
